Hey Guys! I realized I haven't posted any journal entries in almost 2 years. Wow! Well honestly I'm not that big on journals but I fill you in on my messed up year. Something I like to call the year from hell. About halfway through my senior year, 2013, I found out I had leukemia. I stayed in the hospital that whole year undergoing treatments and I even got to graduate early. My school was very nice and decided to freeze my grades as they were so that all I had to do was focus on my treatments. In October I was released from the hospital and transferred to a rehab clinic. Hi guys,   So today got my mom to drive me to michaels and bought a fixative for my drawings. Last night i was going through my sketch book and was annoyed that the drawings were smudging on the opposite page..again. This had been happening for a year and in a burst of thought i was like i wonder if they have something to stop this. Turns out they do and i've just been too lazy to do anything about it for a year lol. I tried it and it seemed to work good but now my drawings reek of fumes :(. Recently i've had the idea of doing a drawing on a greek myth or a childrens story..for example: sleeping beauty or theseus and ariadne etc. The only problem is that I don't know that many greek myths. If anyone who actually reads my journal entries know any good greek myths please let me know. Or if you know a good story/legend/myth or whatever that you think would be cool to mix up a bit, I'd love that. I started thinking about this when i watched clash of the titans and the scene where the fisherman found theseus and his dead mother in that box. I had the idea of drawing his mother and theseus and making is victorian. I was going to change
